From Me to You

Since I was a young teen, I always wanted to make an impact on the world. I felt stuck for a very long time and I didn't know what to do to move towards my dreams, my passions and my life goals. I used to struggle a lot with what I wanted to do with my life. People around me were so decided on being doctors or engineers, I felt lost. I always knew the life I wanted to live out, but it always felt out of reach, unachievable. I was very scared. For a long time I lied to myself about what I truly wanted, just to "fit in." I didn't tell anyone the life I had dreamt of for years because I thought people were going to tell me it was dumb or to "just keep dreaming." Eventually, I realized my worth. I know who I am, I know what I deserve, and I decide what to act upon. And this is it, this blog.

 

Different forms of art and self-expression have always been my biggest passion. Since I was a litte, I used to draw and paint on canvases, until I was in my senior year in highschool. After that, I entered College and grew distant from what really drew me: fashion, music, painting, film, movies, etc. I've always had my eyes on the music and fashion industry and have always felt how it moves people in deep, meaningful ways. I want to move people in the same way, through my creations, my devotion to this blog, and my love for the work I do.

 

We can give so much meaning to something as simple as an illustration, a single word. All it takes is one simple note. A look. A song. A style. I am here to share my part out there, my impact.

 

This blog appeared in a moment of clarity. It suddenly clicked and brought everything together. The idea came naturally, like it was waiting for the right moment to appear. I realized I had something worth sharing. I never thought I'd make a blog, since I have never really written "professionally" before. But here I am, learning through the journey, one word at a time.

I always knew I was meant for more in life, I was meant to be someone big. Meant to inspire others into being great and share this part of me with all. The type of life i want to live out is very specific, and I know its already written for me, its in my path. I am devoted to keep working on myself and my passions, to live it out. I truly believe that The Yellow Cut will make a difference, in many peoples day-to-day lives. Whether it sparks your creativity or introduces you to new artists, I truly hope this space will bring you joy in many ways. 

 

It will be an inspiration to many people. That's exactly what I want. To help, spread love, care and gratitude. To share a part of me with the world and inspire you to share a part of yourself. To bring positivity and hopefully inspire many to go after the dreams that may seem unachievable, because they aren't. If you can dream it, if you can imagine it, and the most important, if it was possible for others, why wouldn't it be possible for me? For us? This is our moment. Be and embody the person you want to be. Act on it, and you will achieve even more than you could have ever imagined. I have finally realized that I can achieve anything I want. I am committed to achieving my dreams, that have come to fruition. I am motivated and excited for my journey and taking you guys along throughout it.
